LIVE STAGE "Bocchi the Rock!" 2024 (LIVE STAGE「ぼっち・ざ・ろっく!」2024 LIVE STAGE "Bocchi za Rokku!" 2024) is the 2024 edition of the stage play series based on the manga and anime series Bocchi the Rock!. It is performed in THEATER MILANO-Za, Kabukicho, Shinjuku, Tokyo on September 7 September 14 until September 24, 2024.

The play will consists of two parts - Part I: STARRY, which is a repeat of the 2023 play and adapts up to Episode 8 of the anime and Part II: Shuka Festival which will be the sequel of the original play, expected to adapt up until the end of the anime series.

Promotion and release[]

The 2024 project was announced during a special live stream to celebrate the 2023 LIVE STAGE Blu-ray and DVD release on February 24, 2024. A teaser PV alongside initial key visual was made public. The details, such as it being divided into 2 parts and the name of both parts has also been revealed at the same time.[1]

On June 1, 2024, more information has been released, with details of the casts of the new characters which includes the rest of SICK HACK members and Ginjiro Yoshida. Further performance schedules has been released on the same date.[2]

Ticket pre-sales has also opened on June 1, with early bird purchase opens for the 2023 LIVE STAGE DVD and BD buyers. It is later expanded to public pre-sales in sites like e-plus, Aniplex Online and Ticketpia later on.

Key visuals featuring Kessoku Band and SICK HACK was released on June 14 and July 5, and character visual follows on August 5.

A livestream featuring the casts (Mamo, Karin, Mirai and Miki) and director Akira was held on August 24, revealing some details about merchandises to be sold in the event. A new PV was also released on the same day. This follows the temporary official release of 2023 LIVE STAGE full performance in YouTube.

Live streaming details were released on September 3 with some performances of Part I and Part II will be available in paid live streaming. [3]

Dates cancellation[]

Due to poor health of one of the performers, it was announced on September 5 that performances between September 7 to September 9 was cancelled, which includes the early performances of Part I of the LIVE STAGE. [4] Refund details will be revealed in a later date. Despite the cancellation of the performance, it is also announced that merchandise sales will continue on the stated date.

On September 6, it was announced that the stage play series will start on September 14, right where the PART II of the stage play will begin. [5] No amendments were made for later dates, including live streaming details.

  • The casts for the stage play remains except for Naoki which is recasted by Hirotaka Noda who also casted as new character Ginjiro Yoshida. Other two new character, Shima Iwashita and Eliza Shimizu is casted by Miyuna and Mizuki Saito (also cast for Michiyo) respectively.
  • While the Part I is largely a repeat play of the last year's show, there are a few things that has been changed:
    • This year's "third song" for STARRY performance is set to Doppelganger as to match how the Re:Re: movie reveal it, in comparison of last year's Seishun Complex. This is also the only new song out of the original Kessoku Band insert songs played in the play.
