"Eight Views" (八景 Hakkei) is the sixth episode of the anime series, Bocchi the Rock!. It premiered on November 13, 2022.
Synopsis[]
A quota of 5 tickets was imposed on each Kessoku Band for the live performance. Hitori, who has no friends, despairs when she realizes that her family alone is not enough for her quota. When she was about to hand out leaflets for publicity, she met Kikuri Hiroi drunk in a back alley.[1]
Plot[]
The Guitar Man recaps the previous episode, he explains Bocchi is a slightly shy, socially anxious, and isolated guitar enthusiast and Bocchi is singing with her guitar. Nijika explains to her to join our band, but the manager told them can't put it on stage unless they pass an audition. The manager menacing below them, they are practicing every hour, and the manager gets passed the audition, Bocchi makes happy about that. But it is that five-person ticket quota, the Guitar Man splashes the water when a soul Bocchi attacks him.
Bocchi will have ten days before the concert. At her home, she is deciding to give their tickets to her family, but there is only one left for grandma. Her mother is aware that the dog Jimihen can't come to the live house, and her father is also aware her little sister Futari can't go to the live house when she is only five years old. Bocchi should choose her ticket to mother, or father, but the brain multiplies between the mother and the father and she splashes the water. Her mother could invite her friends as well, Futari evilly talks her sister has no friends of her own, Bocchi becomes creepy for Futari might not talk about them and tells her should not say that. She is fine when already has a lot of friends at school and is excited about the concert.
Bocchi thinking if she does not find buyers for three more tickets and made those promotional flyers to hand out. The Guitar Man reads online that stuff with a handmade feel, she slipped out and threw the flyers. and became powerless. She responds quickly to her LOINE message and reads their conversation. She is thinking about they are all taking care of it and says "got the quota covered" or "can't handle the quota". An angel Nijika, Ryo, and Kita talk to her and an angel Bocchi will rock them. She might not think because her mother cannot accept help. She heard that Hiroi collapsed herself. Bocchi needs her to get an ambulance, but it got the wrong dial number. She asks Bocchi if Hiroi needs water, hangover medicine, miso soup with clams, and rice porridge. Bocchi reacts to her as very demanding.
Hiroi drinks the shijimi miso soup after Bocchi bought that. She wanted to take off her head and power-wash it and take out her guitar and wring out all the alcohol. Bocchi leaves it, but Hiroi asks Bocchi for her name and drinks it again, and she becomes crazy. She brings out the six sakes of packaging and one bottle of alcohol and starts drinking again. She asks Bocchi if wants to drink sake, but she might become underage. Bocchi sneaks, carry the guitar, and run away. Bocchi trips her foot and Hiroi carries Bocchi's guitar without falling. Bocchi might be thinking herself when she will be mad if Hiroi lends the guitar and smashes it. Bocchi talks to her fast, and Hiroi wastes Bocchi for one day only. She jokes Bocchi for talking about, she gives Bocchi for our lesson.
Hiroi is trying to play Bocchi's guitar shortly, she also plays bass actually, Bocchi asks her where is the bass, but Hiroi left it at the pub. She grabs Bocchi to find the bass.
Meanwhile, at the live house, Ryo checked Bocchi's reply on her phone, but still no response. Kita has practice today, but sure she is busy. Ryo sobs when Bocchi is overwhelmed by Nijika. Nijika makes jealous that she is okay.
At the street concert, Hiroi got her bass named Super Ultra Shuton Doki EX. She rocked at the concert last night, but she drank way too much at the afterparty. Bocchi asks her how many hours did she spend drinking, Hiroi is really at the afterparty starting at ten with her bandmates and friends. She might want to stay up until tonight. She asks about her might be fears about the future, and she explains the Happiness Spiral. Bocchi thinks if she is older when she looks drunk.
The future years later, Bocchi becomes hikikomori and drinks alcohol, her mother stopped bugging her to go to the employment agency and she is too busy with her grandkids, Futari becomes a mother now. The picture is falling and she saw it that recognized when she was a high school. Bocchi sobs for saying that, a present Bocchi jumpscares of the future.
Bocchi apologizes to Hiroi for losing her head, but she explains her life. Hiroi makes it so hard when she sells the tickets, she takes off her jacket and prepares themselves to play a street concert. She has the best way to sell tickets to play a street concert, but there are kinds of festivals in the area later, and it made perfect, but she doesn't have amps and stuff. She is calling her friend to bring the stuff now, Bocchi could thinking of going for now. Hiroi sets the YAMAHA THR30II and Positive Grid Spark Amps for Bocchi and is about to play a street concert and come watch it.
Meanwhile, at the live house, Kita asks Bocchi, who she likes at school. Ryo might think that she is a loner at school, but Kita might be in a different class and Bocchi is not being bullied. She is kind to know how to approach her, but Ryo makes it so much fun for Bocchi.
After Bocchi practices the guitar, Hiroi is going to start a performance. They are playing an original song by Kessoku Band and then applause to the audience, but it failed. After starting the performance, Kita will stick with her for guitar practice. Bocchi reacting to her as ad-libbing, but she's selling it while thinking. She is too scared to look up and the audience laughs at her. The fan is cheering for Bocchi, and Nijika waiting for her response. Bocchi had enemies here while playing, but it was just her imagination. Hiroi thinks Bocchi opened her eyes and how she plays interestingly.
The audience applauses them after the performance. Hiroi never lies for Bocchi when she is going better. Bocchi bows her head and reacts the audience is smiling. She has a dream to do more concerts. The flyer went away by the wind to the sky. Hiroi did great work with her, but Bocchi didn't realize it when she only had one eye open.

Bocchi's fans know her for the first time watching a street performance. Bocchi bought them two tickets and she will play the song again. Hiroi drinks the sake again after Bocchi buys two tickets. Hiroi will be back in a happiness spiral soon while drinking. The policeman tells them to stop the performance, Bocchi is acting a handcuffed and her face will move away.
Bocchi realizes that only one ticket left to sell, but she did sell four. Hiroi will buy the last ticket and will get her to the quota. She typically operates out of Shinjuku and realizes the live house too. She is worth 1,000 yen to trade the ticket from Bocchi. She farewells her to play again sometime. Bocchi thinking of her from the rock. Hiroi comes back to her after spending the money, but she will return the money for the train.
Ryo sneezes while nothing doing at all. The audience from the street concert watches the firework festival. Bocchi texts Nijika for not making it to practice today and sold all the tickets and then sends them. She will be a big success at the concert. Kita says Bocchi's conversation for that, and Nijika is lying to her. Bocchi is going to be practicing tomorrow. In the final shot, the fireworks blow up.

- The circular diagram of Kikuri's "Happiness Spiral" is a parody of an internet meme called "Vicious Cycle of *** Dependence" (◯◯依存の悪循環).[5] It is originated from an illustration used on a PR booklet published by Miyagi Prefectural Government in December 2010.[6] The original illustration has a caption that reads "Vicious Cycle of Drug Dependence" (薬物依存の悪循環) and explains how people become addicted to drugs. It became a meme in 2014 and many parodies have been made since then, replacing "Drug" with something they are addicted to, such as animes, games, foods, and so on.
